Early this year, I wrote about Helicopter Parenting and marveled at the somewhat crazy stories in the article I linked to. I saw another story on Helicopter Parenting this afternoon, so it made me think of my original post on the subject.  It doesn't contain the same types of outrageous stories like the original article I wrote about, but it does give some helpful tips to potentially prevent yourself from turning into a Helicopter Parent.
